As a former United States Marine Corps member, I was driven by discipline and duty. But my life took a dramatic turn when I suffered a life-threatening injury that not only ended my military career but also left me fighting for my life. The months that followed were filled with hospital stays, therapy, and moments when I wondered if I would ever be the same. But through it all, I discovered something that would change my life: fitness isn’t just about strength—it’s about healing. It’s about rebuilding yourself from the inside out, and it’s about finding the courage to keep going when it feels impossible.
